It’s been a long time coming… but I’ve finally managed to launch my official website. Designed by Candace Joseph, this will be my new online home for sharing all things relating to music production, recording, and mixing.
I’m excited to finally have my own home on the web... a place that feels like me, and a place that I can continue to make a contribution to Memphis culture and beyond.

The son of Gary Johns, has carried on a lot of the tradition of his father. Using the same gear as he did to make records today. Again, something that has such authenticity in its history is still being used today to keep music going!

Most of my recording techniques originated from the early guys. Their captured sounds stand the test of time and still sound as good today as they did then. There is something to be said about that. Performance and skill from the artist played the most important role in the studio. This article describes it well... Authenticity at its best!
